Happy Samhain!

Abishai and I have been hard at work creating Samhain themed crafts! To celebrate, we baked some peanut butter cookies and will be going trick or treating later today. Abi still isn't sure what he's going to be, so far he's had the following ideas:

Daddy! (I think he meant a painter like Daddy, we have little coveralls and a paint can for him to carry around.)
Kiki! (As in 'Kiki's Delivery Service', his hero. Other then a broom for him to fly on and a stuffed cat, that would be the extent of his 'costume'.)
The Ocean! (A neat idea, we have gauzy blue fabric to drape him in and a shiny, glittery mermaid esque shawl to wrap around his shoulders. We were thinking painting his face with sea creatures too...)

So it's all up to him, we'll see what he picks. Gabo and I are going as zombies.

Our friend and fellow wobbly; Kirsten, gave Abi a sweet colouring zine from the Saskatchewan Anarchist Bookfair. He's been busy giving the pages some colour and he also drew a picture this morning of a dragon standing beside Haye and Abi. In the background he drew peaches, apples and plums because that's what dragon's eat, don't you know?

Anyways, things are going well over here. We're excited for all the festivities, Happy Samhain!

"I can't believe it! It's a miracle!"

It's the attack of the Freedom Fighters, comin' atch-ya Cardenas style!
